Frameless TK Series with Direct Drive Tecnology

The TK series of frameless brushless motors provide the highest torque density available today for direct drive, high performance applications.

Unlike traditional torque motors, TK units combine high torque and high-speed capabilities, allowing seamless operation as spindle and rotary table motors. This versatility enhances performance across various applications.

Utilizing special Phase-manufactured magnets, TK motor rotors ensure efficient high-speed operation with minimal loss factors. This design feature contributes to the motors’ exceptional performance and reliability.

TK motors, built as three-phase rare-earth (Iron Neodymium Boron) permanent magnet units, achieve unparalleled continuous and peak torque density. Moreover, they offer precise speed and flux control over a constant power range of up to 10:1.

Supplied as separate stator and rotor units, TK Torque Motors facilitate direct mounting inside machine structures. Their robust construction, featuring mechanical, glue-free magnet retention and preloaded carbon fiber sleeves, ensures safe operation, even at extremely high speeds. Additionally, customization options such as semi-custom rotors and frames with integral cooling systems are available to meet specific application requirements.

All TK Torque Motors are designed for fluid (water) cooling on the outside of the stator for maximum performance. Conduction/convection cooling is also possible.Constant power operation (flux control) always requires water cooling.
