The intrinsic programmability and open programming environment of Phase Motion Control drives with the GPLC software allows the development of"drive based" systems in which all the process control intelligence is downloaded on the drive.

AML is a numerical control type high level software which allows the user to control the drive with higher level functions than those available in the GPLC language, so that sequential and complex motion instructions can be programmed with a few lines of clear, familiar code. AML can run concurrently with GPLC so that numerical control type instructions and PLC type programming can be used concurrently accordng to the user needs.

AML is built into all supplied drive software; activation code must be requested from Phase Motion Control.
